Who's Little-Al A.K.A Alain Purney

I’m a French Canadian from the Nations Capital Region. I’m a Cosplayer, Hobbyist, and Graphic Designer. I’ve studied in Graphic Design at La Cité Collégiale and graduated in April 2012. Not too long after, I started working at SEO TWIST. In 2020 SEO TWIST was acquired and merged with Creative TRND. Since I’ve been working at Creative TRND, my skills and career opportunities have grown more than before. Today I am the Branding and Design Manager at Creative TRND.

The Miniature World

I’ve started painting miniatures in 2003. I’ve started painting models from the Lord of the Rings model range from Games Workshop. Then I expanded into Warhammer 40,000 and the Age of Sigmar Model range. Through the years I’ve participated in painting competitions and won many, see all awards here. Today my miniature range keeps expanding and trying out new techniques in painting. In 2017 I became one of the founders the “Ottawa Kapital Gaming Garrison” a fun tabletop wargaming Group for the Ottawa area to allow people to connect and share their painting, tips, and gaming.

The Cosplay World

I’ve been Cosplaying since 2016 to try something different and attend conventions in costume is even more fun. Since then I caught the bug of cosplaying. It allows me to push and to create costumes from anime, video games, movies, etc, to reality. I then discovered that there’s ICG Masquerade (costume Competitions) at conventions. Where in May 2019, I succeeded in reaching master level. View awards accomplished to date. The Next challenge now is to try and get the International title. I also had the opportunity to judge Cosplay Competitions as well.

Photography World

Photography is another passion of mine. With my camera in hand, I love to explore new areas in hopes of capturing the natural beauty of the landscapes or even little critters. It’s a moment frozen in time that you can re-live.
